Donations pay for the everyday work of the campaign, and for making the 12th of July 2027 and the following month, something people remember.

What your gift pays for.
- IGetting the word out: maintenance and marketing of the website, printed material, and reaching people who'd never otherwise hear about it.
- IIEvents for 2027: helping towns, schools, and groups, put on something for the founding day.
- IIIFree materials: history packs and guides anyone can use, at no charge, freely downloadable from this site.
- IVThe petition push: the sustained effort it takes to reach Parliament and the media.
Remember: this is a community campaign operated by a soon-to-be registered charity. We'll keep it lean and be straight about how money is spent.

We do not want to take donations until we are officially registered as a Charity, so thank you for considering donating but please hold on to it for now. We like to do things properly. You can sign up for the newsletter instead and we will let you know when it is official.

Money is absolutely not the only way to help! Add your name to the petition, and/or share word of the campaign, petition, and this site. Every bit carries the movement further. Honestly, you probably don't realise how much simply posting this on your social media could help, or telling your neighbour. Money just greases the axles, it's care and passion that turn the cogs.
