A signature you can trust

We closely follow the published approach used by the UK Parliament petitions service, including an eligibility declaration, email confirmation and checks to prevent duplicate signatures.

British citizens and UK residents can sign, including British citizens living abroad. Your signature is counted only after you confirm your email address. Your name, email address and optional research answers are kept private.

You can read Parliament's own guidance and its privacy notice, alongside our privacy notice. England 927 is an independent campaign, not a Government service. Our postcode field is optional, and email confirmation does not independently verify identity or citizenship.

100,000 signatures. Then the one million milestone.

We will approach the Government personally with our petition once it reaches 100,000 confirmed signatures and invite the media to take note. It will remain open as we work towards the one million milestone and beyond. There is no ceiling.

England 927 is our first project. Through shared history and celebration, it aims to bring communities together and create opportunities for connection, participation and belonging.
